A parked Internet domain is one which is taken, but it's not associated with some other service - web or e-mail hosting. Essentially, this type of domain won't open any real content when you type it inside a browser, but no one else can take it as you've already registered it and you are its owner. The advantage of getting a domain and parking it afterwards is that you can keep it and not worry that somebody else may register it in the meantime if, for instance, the site for it is not ready yet. You may set a temporary Under Construction page for a parked domain while you're working on the site, or forward it to another web address - temporarily or permanently. The latter option can be used when you have already registered domain.com, for instance, and you get domain.net and domain.org, so as to protect a brand name or a trademark. In this situation, the .net and .org domain names can be parked and forwarded to the .com as you do not need different websites for them.

Parked Domains in Shared Web Hosting

You're going to be able to park as many domains as you wish with any of the shared web hosting plans that we offer. Of course, this feature is offered exclusively for domain addresses registered with us since the service is always provided only by the registrar. Unlike the majority of service providers, we do not charge anything extra for parking a domain address and the process takes only a couple of clicks in your Hepsia CP. We have a couple of parking templates to pick from where you can include custom text. If you decide to host a parked domain name in the future, adding it to your account takes only a mouse click. Everything essential for the website to start showing up, such as creating a domain folder and creating DNS records will be done automatically by our system. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to view a full list of the domains that you've registered using our company and you can set a filter to see just the parked or just the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

Our Linux semi-dedicated services don't have a set limit for the amount of domain addresses that you could park. This option is available for domain addresses that are registered with our company and not ones that are only hosted, as the service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any one of your domains is really easy and takes several mouse clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager software instrument, which you’ll be able to access through your Hepsia website hosting CP. You're going to have a variety of parking templates to select from and you can add custom text to each of them - Under Construction, For Sale, Parked Domain, etcetera. Un-parking a domain name is just as easy and what is more, our system will set up all the needed records and it will set up a folder in the File Manager section automatically, so you'll not need to do a single thing manually.
